Threads by Athena is a woman-owned small business local to Huntsville, AL specializing in handmade bags made with sewing and quilting techniques. My products are crafted with thoughtfulness and intention, never prioritizing quantity over quality. My goal for Threads by Athena is to inspire a deeper appreciation for the labor that goes into hand making the goods we use in our every day lives.

Hi! My name is Emily Athena and I'm the founder and owner of Threads by Athena. I started my small business in 2024, about six months after graduating from university. I quickly fell in love with my craft and decided to pursue a full time solopreneur career!
